Tayto Factory Tour Terms and Conditions 2018/19


These terms set out the basis on which you can purchase places for your tour to Tayto. Once your places have been purchased, refunds are subject to Terms & conditions. By reserving places for a Tayto Factory Tour you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.



We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer financial details with any 3rd parties.

Booking a Tour:


  1. Should you wish to cancel a tour, we request that you give us notice at least 5 working days in advance of your tour date to ensure a full refund of your payment.
  2. Adults: £7.50, Senior Citizen / Student: £6.00. Children: £5.00 all prices are per person.
  3. You accept that you are liable for payment for any tour booked and not taken. Without giving at least 5 working days notice to cancel.
  4. Bookings can be made via our website or via telephone 02838-440340. We allocate places on a first come first served basis. We cannot guarantee a booking for any parties who turn up without prior arrangement.
  5. Tayto (NI) Ltd does not operate tours on public holidays such as Christmas, Easter, May Day Bank Holiday and 10th to 17th July. 
  6. Tours commence 10:30am and 1:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 10:30am on Friday. NO exceptions or alterations can be made to these times. Should you arrive late, we cannot guarantee your place on the tour.
  7. A tour lasts approximately one and a half hours. We can accommodate up to 45 persons.
  8. Any bookings made will only be valid for the day stated on you confirmation. Should a booking need to be amended contact the tours department and every effort will be made to accommodate the amendment, subject to existing bookings.


On Arrival:

As a fully operational factory and food manufacturer we operate strict health and safety procedures. All visitors will receive a comprehensive safety briefing upon arrival.  All policies and procedures must be adhered to.  Any persons refusing to comply will not be allowed into the factory.


No children under the age of 5 will be permitted to enter the factory.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.


Visitors are required to ensure sensible shoes are worn. No open toed sandals or high heels are to be worn. Appropriate clothing must be worn no sports tops, No bare arms a long sleeved top is required. 


All persons must wear the protective clothing they are issued with - these must not be removed until the Tour has finished.


No food products can be brought into factory.

Please note this is a NUT free site.


No jewellery or personal items can be worn/carried into the factory. 

You will be asked to remove all items during your safety briefing and these will be locked away for safety.


Anyone suffering from a food or nut allergy should inform their tour guide

before the tour commences. WE ARE A NUT FREE SITE


If essential medication (i.e. an inhaler) is to be carried at all times, please make it known to a tour guide who will ensure that it is available if needed.


Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the factory. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.


Pets or animals of any nature are prohibited within Tayto


We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to refuse entry onto or to remove from the premises anyone to whom it appears to us may compromise the quality and safety of our products and premises or may put the safety or enjoyment of others at risk. Anyone who displays threatening and/or abusive behaviour, may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or in anyway behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace will also be removed from the premises. 



  1. Due to the nature of our business we reserve the right to cancel tours at any time. In the unlikely event of a tour being cancelled we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible and refund any monies paid in advance to Tayto Tours.


  1. We will endeavour to ensure that the Tayto factory is in operation during the times of tours. However, we reserve the right to close the factory with or without notice, whether for safety reasons or otherwise. In such eventuality Tayto may refund the price of admission.  We are not responsible for any other expenses incurred (.e.g. travel) in respect of the tour being cancelled or closure of the factory.


  1. Other than liability for death or personal injury resulting from Tayto’s negligence, Tayto, its employees and any associates shall not be liable for any loss or damage, however it may arise.


  1. Tayto does not have any catering or picnic facilities.


  1. Tayto does not have any onsite parking.
